Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

Only active, paying members of 5DEG Fitness are eligible to enter the Prize Wheel draw. Excluded categories: members on hold or suspended, expired memberships, trial members, cancelled members, and any membership with a scheduled end or cancellation date — including where that date has not yet passed and fees are still being paid. Active members automatically enter the draw each week at no additional cost.

Staff members of 5DEG Fitness are not eligible to win. Family members of staff who hold their own active paying membership are eligible under the same terms as any other member.

2. Entry System

Entries are earned weekly based on membership tier and activity:

• Standard Members: 1 entry per week.
• Premium Members: 2 entries per week.
• Bonus Entry — 3+ Gym Visits: If a member checks in to the gym 3 or more times during the entry week (Monday–Sunday), they earn +1 additional entry in that week’s draw.
• Bonus Entry — Referral: Each successful referral of a new paying member earns +10 entries in that week’s draw. Multiple referrals stack (e.g., 5 successful referrals = 50 entries). A ‘successful referral’ is defined as a new person who completes account setup and makes their first payment.

All bonus entries stack. A member earning 2 base entries + 1 visit bonus + 20 referral entries will have 23 total entries in that week’s draw. Entries do not carry forward between weeks — the pool resets after each draw.

One visit per calendar day is counted. Multiple check-ins on the same day count as a single visit.

3. Draw & Timing

The draw takes place every Monday. Entry week runs Monday–Sunday of the previous week. Names are drawn randomly using a third-party online random generator. Only one name is drawn per week unless the selected member cannot be contacted (see below).

The selected member must make contact with 5DEG Fitness within 24 hours of first notification to confirm their spin. If the member cannot be contacted or does not respond within that 24-hour period, or does not attend and spin the wheel before the end of the week, the spin is forfeited and another name is randomly drawn from the remaining pool.

Members are encouraged to attend as early in the week as possible. A forfeited or unclaimed spin does not carry forward to the following week.

If a member wins multiple weeks in a row, they remain eligible to be drawn again the following week.

4. Spinning the Wheel

The wheel must be spun in person at 5DEG Fitness by the drawn member, during staffed hours and at a time agreed upon with 5DEG staff. The following rules determine whether a spin is valid:

• Full Rotation Required: A spin must complete at least one full rotation of the wheel to count. If the wheel does not complete a full rotation, the spin is void and the member must spin again.
• No Interference: Once the wheel is in motion it must be allowed to come to a complete stop on its own. If the wheel is stopped, slowed, touched or otherwise interfered with by any person before it stops naturally, the spin is void and no prize will be awarded.

The prize awarded is the segment indicated by the pointer once the wheel has come to a complete and unassisted stop. The 5DEG staff member supervising the spin determines whether a spin is valid, and that decision is final.

5. Prizes

The Prize Wheel contains 32 slots. The prizes on the wheel are:

• Major Prize: Starts at $500 cash. If not won in a given week, the prize increases by $100 the following week and continues to jackpot until won.
• 6 Weeks Coaching (AR Coaching)
• East Coast Voucher ($100 value): Must be claimed in person from 5DEG within 7 calendar days. Vouchers expire 12 months from the date of the draw.
• 5DEG Merchandise: Given on the day the member visits the gym to spin the wheel.
• Free Week: Applied to the member’s account on the day the wheel is spun.
• Gym Towel: Given on the day the member visits the gym to spin the wheel.
• Better Luck Next Time: No prize; entry is ineligible for this draw.

6. Prize Redemption

Cash prizes will be paid in person at 5DEG Fitness. Free Weeks and Coaching sessions are automatically applied to the winner’s account on the day the wheel is spun. Physical items (merchandise, towels) are delivered on the day the winner spins the wheel. Vouchers must be claimed within 7 days and expire 12 months from the draw date.

The Major Prize is updated and promoted on 5DEG’s social media each week to show the current jackpot amount.

7. Tax Responsibility

The winner is solely responsible for all tax implications resulting from winning a prize. It is the winner’s responsibility to declare the prize as income according to applicable tax laws in their jurisdiction.

8. No Purchase Necessary

This Prize Wheel is a promotional giveaway for active members and does not constitute gambling. Entry is a benefit of active 5DEG membership; no purchase is required beyond an active membership. Active paying members are automatically entered into each weekly draw.

9. Changes & Termination

5DEG Fitness reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Prize Wheel promotion at any time without written notice. Current members will be notified of any changes via email or in-gym signage. No liability or compensation is owed to members for any modification or termination.
